It seems colorful front doors are quite the rage right now, and I have to admit, I love them. The unexpected pop of color is the perfect way to greet your visitors with a cheerful hello. I'm partial to the green, yellow and hot pink, especially when paired with brass accents. Do you have a colorful front door? Would you ever consider painting yours a bold color?
I love the idea of a colorful front door. Mine is black & rather boring but I don't know if I'm bold enough to do it. Maybe a blue or purple, though!
ReplyDeleteYes! I live in an area where row homes are really popular. It would be so fun to add a pop of color to the front door. Hot pink is tempting! I'd probably try out a deep red hue.
ReplyDeleteI LOVEEEEE this!! Our door used to be baby blue, but I changed it because it didn't really go with the shutters...or the brick...or anything on the outside, but I just really wanted a baby blue door. haha! One day I will have another house where I can have a lacquered colorful door!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a yellow door... and we painted "Welcome" on it in black! I loooove it! That last door, the purple one, was on our list of colours to consider, but in the end, yellow won out! :)

ReplyDeleteI love a colorful front door but sadly, we rent and changing it is not an option. I do love that royal blue in photo #4.
ReplyDeleteWe just painted ours a bright blue. At first the color scared me a bit but now its grown on me more and more. Since the Christmas wreath is down, its looked a little naked. The door knockers on some of the photos though have given me ideas!

ReplyDeleteMy front and back doors are a near match for #2 - I call it a "happy" blue. And don't you want your guests to feel happy when ringing your doorbell? But, if I was a single lady my front door would be pink for sure! (I don't think my husband would be able to properly appreciate that!)
