pretty girl.

I mentioned before that I had a few projects in my head...
and finally got around to making one of them yesterday.

Here she is:

It's the same girl used in my logo {sans feather.}
Don't you love her?

Here's how I made her...

I started with a black ornate open back picture frame from Hobby Lobby.

I used a high gloss spray paint in a pretty turquoise color to completely cover the frame.

Then I printed out my silhouette image...

...and put it on top of white card stock to cut out.

I cut a piece of foam board to size & used spray adhesive to apply my Paper Source wrapping paper for the background.

The last step was to use spray adhesive to apply the silhouette to the background and then place into the painted frame.

She looks lovely, doesn't she?

The thing I love most about this project is that I could switch the print out so easily with another print and silhouette.

Maybe a pumpkin for halloween or a tree at christmas?

Happy Friday!
