Do you twitter?
If so, what do you think? I signed up for an account a LONG time ago but have not used it/gotten into it. I am {kinda} tired of all the shows that say, "follow us on twitter"...even our local weatherman has a twitter. Crazy! I get the updates thing...after all, I have a facebook...but do you need both?

ReplyDeleteI think Twitter is easier than FB, because you just get the status updates, and you don't have to wade through everything else. It can be addicting...
ReplyDeleteI have twitter, but rarely ever use it. I'm on facebook waaaay more. And it's virtually the same freaking thing as twitter. I mean, really.

Twitter is good for PR, I think, because one facebook you are generally friended by people who know you. The Twitter world is strange. I have no idea how people find me or why they choose to follow me. It is like facebook status updates with a huge group of random facebook people that you don't know.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah - it gives you the chance to advertize, but it's totally not as fun as facebook.
i have both and i find that i spend more time of fb than twitter. i really like they are about the samething except that fb has all the extra stuff while twitter is just status updates.

I twitter and I love it! It's VERY addicting. It's easier to use than Facebook...AND you can have it automatically update your FB status and feed to your blog. I work in Communications so anything that has to do with social media is on my radar. We have an employee at our company dedicated to "tweeting," facebooking, etc. and I think it's important to embrace the change in technology. After all, if I hadn't embraced blogging (which at one point I said "I will NEVER blog") then I wouldn't have learned SO much from all those fabulous bloggers!!
